Positivity and Persistence - How to LIVE LIKE LIAM
“This song is it man. I can feel it. THIS ONE IS GONNA BE HUGE!”
That’s pretty much how every conversation goes before the release of a new LIVE LIKE LIAM track. The guy is incredibly positive, forthright, and downright savage with his idealistic optimism. In the current music market, someone as staunchly positive as Liam can come across as “unreal” or “too much”. But after spending over a year working on sounds, releasing new songs, and getting to know each other, I can say without a doubt that’s just how Liam is. He’s not faking it for the cameras, for the instagram, for the clout, or other people. He really is just positive af. He believes in what he’s doing, and willing to put in the work to get there.
Liam just came out with the single “IN THE MOMENT”, a banger produced by REFINERY. And he’s got an acoustic track coming later this winter. He’s come out with several tracks over the last few years, all tracks combined soaring over a 100,000 plays. With a common theme of good times and positivity, its no wonder his track “Tequila and Lime” was picked up by El Jimador as an officially sponsored track. Even before joining the TRND MANAGEMENT program, Liam has been on his grind.
Liam and I have talked a lot over the last year, and one conversation we keep having is how to stay optimistic in your situation. I asked him to sum up our conversations by giving him the following prompt.
How do you stay so positive and believe in yourself even when it feels like no one else does?
“I would say that being positive started when I was a kid. I had to learn how to practice positivity. Once you learn to love yourself and know your worth you learn not to let people bring you down. Also I’ve been working on my craft for 15 years so working hard everyday and learning to appreciate yourself and also not being afraid to fail. Now a days with everything going on there is not enough positivity and I have to make sure I can spread that to others and make others believe in themselves and inspire others to do what they love.“
