GR4NT - RETRO SWIM SHORTS!

His beachy beats, wavy hip-hop flows, and laid-back lyrics, have given space to something we’re calling “indie-beach-hip-hop”. Add some retro-80’s swim shorts and you’ve got a pretty good idea for what Gr4NT’s music sounds like.

ITSERNIE @ TRNDFEST 2021

ITSERNIE came out swinging at TRNDFEST 2021. ITSERNIE delivered his anthem “Fonzie” while spraying water over the crowd and screaming the lines “WE DON’T DRINK DASANI”. Averi Burk - The DFW Rockstar

She looked like the kind of artist you’d expect to pull up in a leather jacket and take your girl, but be charismatic enough to make you still feel like a valued individual. All that to say, she seemed out of reach to a lot of people in the scene.

The Snowpocalypse - February 2021

So I bundled up, wiped the 6 inches of snow off of my windshield, and headed out. The cool thing about driving a stick shift front wheel drive Mazda is that I actually have better traction control then most of these kids with their dad’s lifted trucks.

The Butterfly Palace - TRND CAMP January 2021

She made it to the butterfly palace with one leg to spare. But oh my gosh I would too! BUTTERFLIES! I will literally never get over it. This place had so many butterfly themed shot glasses on the table that you see as soon as you walk in, so you know they're here for a good time. I can not even begin to explain how excited I was to be there. I’ve always wanted a stupid little picture with a stupid little butterfly on my stupid little nose. Why TRND MUSIC Wouldn't Exist Without Country Music

Her jukebox was full of all the classics, and her cd case went from wall to wall, 10 shelves high. When putting music onto usb drives was cool, I couldn’t buy enough 64 gigabyte holders. While my mother drove our car in silence, my Grandma had country music playing in every room, morning to night.

Positivity and Persistence - How to LIVE LIKE LIAM

The guy is incredibly positive, forthright, and downright savage with his idealistic optimism. In the current music market, someone as staunchly positive as Liam can come across as “unreal” or “too much”. But after spending over a year working on sounds, releasing new songs, and getting to know each other, I can say without a doubt that’s just how Liam is.

ROANE RAPS

Coming in at just over 12,000 monthly listeners, Roane has explored many different genres of hip-hop. But something that always comes through is his meaningful and heartfelt lyrics. His lyricism lacks a certain cliché verbiage that most hip hop artists are wrought with. A little more reminiscent of NF’s early “Therapy Sessions”. His melodies range from soothing pop melodies, to very modern Juice WRLD hooks. Again, what remains consistent, are the confidently delivered bars in his all his verses.

THE TRND SPOOKEASY

The TRND SPOOKEASY was our take on a halloween party this year. Walking up the stairs , the coffee shop front of our favorite club seems closed. Dark and desolate, you really wouldn’t know there’s a party going on until you make it to the open window. A young man in a Burgundy suit sits behind the counter, and after asking you if you have a mask and the password, lets you into an ominous secret door covered in cobwebs .
